Shabbat
By Kristen Esker

It’s Friday night and our work is done,
come out to celebrate everyone.

A day of rest, a day of play,
Shabbat Shalom, hip-hip-hooray.

Two candles are lit, and the Blessings are said,
We drink the wine and break the bread.

We are grateful for God’s mighty law
that brings peace and love to us all.

Our Shabbat has come to an end,
peace be with you, Baruch Ha Shem.
